Do you know how to juggle?

I don’t.  Well, I am learning how to juggle.  But not with apples, or balls, or oranges or anything like that.

I am learning to juggle five children’s school schedules, menus, doctor appointments, church commitments, housekeeping…all that stuff that I’m sure most people have figured out already.

My mind is a-whirl this morning as I figure out what my children need to accomplish in order to finish out this school year.  It seems like there is so much to do yet, and only 3 1/2 weeks of school left.  Yikes!!

I am thankful for my day planner.  Hmmm, let me rephrase that.  I am DEPENDENT upon my day planner.  (is the grammar correct there?  It seems kind of funny  to me.  Oh, well.  Let me know if it’s wrong!)

I know that everyone has their own system, but this is the one that works well for me.  Graceworks Purpose Planners….

Several years ago, I came across this website that sells beautiful planning pages.   They have several different layouts, so you can pick a planner that works for you.  You can mix and match to make your planner work for you.  You can use these pages however you want so that (I’ll say it one more time) your planner will work for you. (yes, I feel very strongly that whatever planning system you use, it should fit you, your personality and your life style!)  I use the monthly calendar to make my menu and I use the household organizing pages for everything under the sun, from planning my garden to making shopping lists.  I personally use the Simplicity Weekly Planner pages.  Because it works for me.

I am so glad that even though at times, like right now, when there is so very much going on, I have a place that I can at least get things down on paper to try {desperately!} to make sense of it all!
